This major international prize is awarded for significant achievement, both for the benefit of science and also for the benefit and health of the specialty, over a whole working life. The winner will be chosen by the EACPT Council members following nominations from members of EACPT Council and from EACPT National member Societies.

The successful candidate
- The Award will be presented at the EACPT Congress in Prague, 24-27 June 2017.
- The Award winner will be expected to give an Award Lecture at the Congress, which will be recorded for posting on the EACPT website.
- The Award winner will also be expected to provide a paper for publication in the official EACPT journal Clinical Therapeutics.
