Prof. Carlo Patrono, is Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at the Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome, Italy, and at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. Patrono’s main research interest is in the study of platelet activation and inhibition in atherothrombosis and colorectal cancer.
