Professor Folke Sjöqvist peacefully passed away on March 30th, 2020
Folke Sjöqvist died peacefully on March 30th, after a period of illness. He is survived by his wife Margareta, four children with families, friends, collaborators and colleagues in Sweden and worldwide.

14th Congress of the European Association for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics
At the 14th EACPT congress, held in Stockholm from June 29th-July 2nd, the organization celebrated its 25th anniversary, attracting 500 participants from all 5 continents – 25 % from beyond the European Region, from Australia to China, Japan and South Korea to the USA. 304 abstracts were presented as 66 short oral communications and 230 poster presentations by delegates from the European Region and around the world.

The EACPT is delighted to announce that the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award of the European Association of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics will go to Professor Urs Meyer from Switzerland.
